A note
from OUR FOUNDER
I race Hyrox, mainly to keep me fit and give me a goal to work towards. But, like many, I juggle it around parenting, work and other commitments.
I started Interval because I believed that supplementation could be simpler. I wanted more convenient options with less things to remember to take, better value (combining ingredients where possible) and I wanted them to taste nice, especially at 6am. As the brand has grown and I've raced more, I've become obsessed with finding those 1%s and how I can extract more from myself.
I keep it simple. Lactic Acid Buffer is in my glass every morning with creatine and beta-alanine. The best routine is the one you can do consistently.

What happens in your muscles during hard efforts.
-
01Effort
Hard work makes lactate. Your muscles reuse it as fuel.
-
02Acidity
Hydrogen ions build up alongside it. That's the burn.

03The scoop

What each one does
- Lactate 1,600mg
- Once believed to be a waste product of exercise. Now known to be a fuel the body uses, through what researchers call the lactate shuttle.
- Citrulline DL-malate 1,500mg
- 1,000mg citrulline. An amino acid your body turns into arginine, the building block for nitric oxide.
- Taurine 1,000mg
- One of the most common amino acids in muscle.
- Papain 200mg
- An enzyme from papaya shown to help with strength recovery and better muscle function.
- Potassium 525mg
- As citrate. Contributes to normal muscle function, and replaces some of what you sweat out.
- Calcium 360mg
- As lactate. Contributes to normal muscle function.
- Magnesium 225mg
- As citrate. Contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
- Vitamin C 80mg
- Contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
- Selenium 110µg
- Also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
- Chromium 18µg
- Contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and maintaining blood glucose. Matters on long sessions, where fuel availability decides the back half.
Per 8.6g serving. NRV = Nutrient Reference Value.

Real people, real results.
Works so well!
Previously used bi carb supplements for my lactate buffer and had to swallow so many capsules while still fearing some gut reaction. This stuff removes all of that with no adverse gut reaction. Tastes great and definitely helped me in my recent hybrid race. Felt strong on the runs.
